About Me

Gary L. Norton
The title of this blog refers to the signing of the Constitution, the Preamble of which states that the purpose of the government is to Establish Justice, Insure Domestic Tranquility, Provide for the Common Defense, Promote the General Welfare, and Preserve the Blessings of Liberty. While the Preamble does not have the force or effect of law, the words are profound. Our history has revealed that everything the government does that is worthwhile and good falls within one or more of these goals. Conversely, when the government acts without regard to these goals it damages our nation and its people.
